Indoor Snowball Tutorial

Today, in Utah it snowed! Now it is looking like Christmas time. What fun it is to bring the fun of snow inside as well. I am giving these out as gifts. I can just see a big snowball fight inside with all the cousins at Grandmas. I am thinking a galvanized bucket with a cute tag attached. Cute, right?

Supplies
  • Fleece 2 yards make 25 balls
  • Thick Thread -You can use quilting thread or embroidery floss.
  • Cotton

Start with a seven inch strip of fleece by the length of your fleece cut and sew it into a long tub.

Turn the tub right side out and cut them into pieces, five inches apart.

Wind a thick thread in your bobbin of your sewing machine.

Sew around the outside of your small tub, both sides. Sew just a 1/4 of an inch away from the edge.

Grab your thick thread from your bobbin and pull one end closed and tie a knot.

Stuff the ball and pull to gather the open end and tie off as well.

Now you are ready for an indoor snowball fight.

My kids would love this! How much cotton did you buy for 25 snowballs? Maybe their elf can leave them a snowball fight kit. I might have to think this through....Do I really want this in the house? ;)

I am in LOVE with these. I am sure your kids will love them too. I would guess just under a 12 ounce bag to make 25 balls.
