I love to cook, especially bake. I love the different smells, colors and textures of food. I was so lucky to marry a man who also loves to cook. He teaches me so much and brings new foods home to try often. He is amazing. Together we love to entertain. When we have a group coming over he is always in charge of the main course while I do the dessert-and cleaning! We make a good team.
We have two beautiful children. Our son is 5. He likes video/computer games and karate. We also have a 3 year old daughter. She is so girly and loves makeup, heels, and dresses!
I love to have parties where just women are invited. We appreciate the details just a bit more than men. It’s fun to throw bridal and baby showers with a theme. I love doing the food presentation.
When it comes to crafting, I call it copy crafting. I very rarely have an original idea. Turns out that suits me just fine because there are countless creative women at the click of a button! I started scrapbooking when I was thirteen and have added small painting projects, embroidery and quilting to the mix. My mom is teaching me to quilt now and my grandma taught me how to embroider. I love that these are skills I will be able to pass to my daughter. My favorite tools in order are: hot glue gun, Cricut Cutter, sewing machine and Mod Podge!
Some random fun facts about me: I love fresh Play Doh. I can’t carry a tune in my pocket but LOVE to sing out loud-and dance! I could wear a plain colored t-shirt every day for the rest of my life. I like to take pictures and read. I love having my toes painted. I like mowing the lawn. I’m a girly tomboy. I love earrings and heels, and sweats and tennis shoes. As a family we enjoy camping, ATV’s and hunting.
