Jennifer

Thrift shopping gives me a thrill. There is nothing like finding the perfect old chair or dresser for just a few dollars and refinishing it into something beautiful. I also love to sew, and really got my start when the nicest friend took the time to sit down with me and show me a pattern after my first little girl was born. I've been sewing ever since. My favorite projects range from clothes for my kids, to creating home decor. My equipment isn't fancy but I did get a nice serger not long ago and have been completely in love with it! My must-have items are my large cutting mat, gingher scissors, serger, sewing machine and my friskars paper cutter. Armed with these tools, you can do anything!

Before kids I was a International Sales Representative for wholesale scrapbooking company. I worked for Daisy D's and Scrapworks. I worked with distributors in other countries including key distributors in the US such as Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and Archivers. I traveled teaching classes and selling to retailers at craft conventions.

I met my husband while attending college and had our first little gal 5 years later. A short 22 months later we had our baby boy. We recently bought a house of our own. It's been so much fun painting, furnishing, and arranging, and I can't wait to show you more of my projects!

I love your "Charley the Ghost" pattern on Monday, Sept. 12 list of designs but the top or head portion is not there. Could you please add this as I would like to make him for my grandchildren.
Looking forward to the pumpkin pattern next week to go with him.
Thanks so much.
