Fun Activity Ideas For The Kiddos



I have two darling kiddos that make me the happiest Mom ever. I try and plan a sensory activity every morning and a outside adventure in the afternoon. I was making our calendar for May and writing down all the ideas I had for this month and I thought I would share them with you.

  • Play with play dough.
  • Ink and stamps.
  • Super Hero Service.
  • Play kitchen with Mom's pots and pans.
  • Play Dr. Office.
  • Pipe cleaner beads.
  • Matching shapes
  • New books and read them outside on a blanket.
  • Corn starch and water tub in the back yard.
  • Make Micky Mouse ears.
  • Make Birthday cards.
  • Hillbilly water bath.
  • Small swimming pool of rice to play I spy.
  • Plant flowers in a pot.
  • Butterfly treats.
  • Marshmallow roast.
  • Bikes at the park.
  • Feed the ducks at the park.
  • Swimming.
  • Make paper flowers for mothers day.
  • Alphabet scavenger hunt.
  • Finger paint on poster board outside.
  • Play with ice and salt in a bowl.
  • A game of Blues Clues.
  • Make a blanket hut.
  • Movie outside.
  • Act out a book and make a videos.
  • Show kids how cartoons were originally made. Make flip books.
  • Activity boxes.
  • Colored spaghetti heads.
  • Nature walk around the block.

You can also encourage responsibility by reminding your child how to properly hold and care for her umbrella.
