I am now blogging at The Mary Frances Project (with my sister Emily), and you can find the (free) Jack Rabbit Softie pattern, and all my other projects, there.
Absolutely amazing! I can't wait to put these in my kids easter basket. Great pictures, pattern, and instructions! Thank you for all your hard work put into sharing!
Carlee--I downloaded it---I've loved those bunnies ever since you posted pictures when you made them for Jack. Where did you get your cute fabrics? Thanks for sharing! :)
The red and white hippo print is from Ikea. I think you might still be able to buy it in their stores. The blue is a Waverly home dec print I bought at Joann's years ago to make pillows. I'm not sure you can still find this print, but it is lovely, isn't it?
When you click on the link, it should open up a new window or tab with the PDF pattern in google documents. On the left (right under the google docs logo) there should be a tab that says 'file'. If you click on it, there is an option to print.
I hope that helps! If you are still having troubles, I'm happy to email the pattern.
Thanks for getting back to me so soon! I appreciate it a lot. Your rabbit is just too cute! I did everything you said, but it still won't let me print it. Must be because I'm down in South America or something. Would you send me the pattern via email? My address is brendasaw@gmail.com Thank you soooo much!
Thank you so much, you guys are awesome! I just printed the pattern out. When I make it I will get back to you and I will post your link to my blog. Thanks again! Connie
Downloading and making! Love it. So adorable. Great job on the pattern. I will send pics of the finished product if you like. Thanks again, Rachel www.fivecraftylittlebirdies@blogspot.com
i love your pattern, and would like to make one, however google docs is giving me trouble and not letting me open it as a pdf. is there any way you could email it to me? my email address is tara1601(at)hotmail(dot)com thanks so much!
Thank you so much for posting this for free. I am going to make 2 bunnies to send to children affected by the tsunami in Japan. (See here for more info http://www.thesleepytimegal.com/for-the-children-of-ishinomaki-japan/ )
I've downloaded the pattern and instructions. Thank you so much for your generosity in sharing it for free. Like Kestrel, I am hoping to make at least one for Toys for Japan, a drive being done here in Australia. http://pottymouthmama.blogspot.com/2011/03/everybodys-doing-it.html
Thank you so much for the darling pattern which I made into a sweet Easter gift for a special two year old. I found your directions easy to follow and only tweeked a couple simple things. Again, many thanks. If you care to see my bunny, you may view him on my blog HERE
Love this pattern! I made it for my granddaughter using quilting flannel. I had some issues working around the legs when sewing the back to the front but over-all it was easy to work and turned out quite cute! I can't wait to try it again. Thank you for sharing!!
The pattern is so cute and I have really enjoyed sewing it up. I'm up to Step 7 and am having a really hard time sewing the front to the back due to the bulk of the arms and legs. I stuffed them very firmly. Should I take some stuffing out to make it easier to sew up? Thanks.
It might help if you leave a bit unstuffed (maybe the top inch or so) on the arms and legs. If that still doesn't work, you might need to take some more out.
Thanks for this awesome tutorial! I made bunnies for my son (2 years) and my daughter (3 months). They came out really well! Thank you so much for making it free!
I'm not sure how to put a picture on here or how to get it to you, but if you want me to email a picture of them, my email is courtneyjogle at aol dot com !
